Making a Difference
Together
Madinah Cats Foundation is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray cats in Saudi Arabia, with a special focus on the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. Operating from both the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia, the foundation embodies a commitment to international collaboration in improving animal welfare.
Madinah Cats provides vital services such as medical treatment, food, water and shelter for cats in need, ensuring they are placed in safe and nurturing environments. A key part of our mission is promoting spaying and neutering programs to humanely control the stray cat population and improve their quality of life.
Based in The Hague, Netherlands, our organization works closely with volunteers, veterinarians and rescuers in Saudi Arabia to carry out its mission. We actively engage with the global community through social media, sharing updates, rescue stories and educational content to inspire compassion and encourage community involvement in animal welfare.
Madinah Cats relies on donations and community support to sustain its efforts. Fundraising campaigns enable supporters worldwide to contribute with donations directly covering medical expenses, food, shelter and other necessities for the rescued cats.
Through our unwavering dedication and compassionate work, Madinah Cats reflects the values of mercy and kindness deeply rooted in the culture and faith of the regions we serve. Our ultimate vision is to establish dedicated shelters in Makkah and Madinah, creating sanctuaries of care and hope for stray cats in the holy cities.
